We are a group of people that have dedicated our lives to the care of sick animals. Our goal is to provide exceptional care to all our patients and their families. To provide every cat, dog and small animal that enters our hospital the very best treatment available and a better way of life.
We do this by working closely with the general practice vets of New Zealand, providing an extension to their practice – utilising state-of-the-art equipment, progressive techniques, clinical expertise and exceptional care.
We have three hospitals across New Zealand. Two in Auckland, one at Sylvia Park and another in West Auckland and VSA in Christchurch. Our team of specialists include six surgeons, two imaging specialists, three internal medicine specialists, a cardiology specialist and a specialist in veterinary anaesthesia.

Our history
Specialist Veterinary Services across 3 hospitals
VSA provides specialist veterinary services to both the North and South Island. We have two specialist hospitals in Auckland providing specialist surgical, imaging, and medical services and also providing advanced small animal physiotherapy and a dedicated accident and emergency service.
In the South Island, VSA Christchurch, is a state of the art animal hospital, bringing new veterinary specialties and services not readily available to the South Island.
