VETERINARY SPECIALIST VACANCIES
SPECIALIST IN SMALL ANIMAL DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING
VSA operates out of two purpose built hospitals both with fully equipped operating rooms, diagnostics (ultrasound, CT and radiology), in-house laboratory and emergency overnight care. MR is acquired off-site. Patient care is managed digitally with Smartflow and EzyVet is the hospital practice management software.

SMALL ANIMAL INTERNAL MEDICINE SPECIALISTS- Auckland and Christchurch Positions Available
The position is full time medicine in a new purpose built hospital with surgical, imaging (in house CT and ultrasound) and physiotherapy support. Overnight and weekend care is provided by an emergency practice.

VSA is entering a period of growth and we are now looking for the right people to join our team as we look to expand our surgery department to cope with the growth we are experiencing in Auckland and the expansion of our specialist services to a new facility in Christchurch in New Zealand’s South Island. We have all of the expected surgical equipment including joint replacement, arthroscopy, intraoperative fluoroscopy and Ligasure as well as digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house CT and ready access to external MRI and PET CT.

RESIDENCY & INTERNSHIP PROGRAMMES
We are pleased to announce a 3-year residency programme in small animal internal medicine. The program will follow the guidelines of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists and operate with a 36 month rotation through our hospitals.

Be part of an exciting and rewarding 12 month internship programme that rotates through our two Auckland VSA hospitals in Henderson and Sylvia Park. Our programme is surgery heavy but all of our interns get the chance to rotate through all of our referral departments including our newly developed anaesthesia department and also through our emergency department.
