VSA is able to offer a dedicated specialist Internal Medicine from our Sylvia Park location. The first service of its type in the southern and eastern parts of Auckland, we are providing specialist medicine services in the following areas:

Our goal is to provide a wide range of specialist medicine services to your pet as an extension of the services that your regular veterinarian can provide. Our Internal Medicine team can provide a personalised and detailed diagnostic and treatment plan for a wide range of medical conditions for you and your pet.
Comprehensive in-house service
The specialists in Internal Medicine have access to the full range of services provided by the Imaging, Surgery and A&E teams at VSA allowing them to use their skills and expertise to provide high quality medical care for your pet. VSA has a comprehensive in-house blood and urine testing laboratory plus we have an excellent and close relationship with our local independent diagnostic laboratory.
Specialist collaboration
Often, if you get the wrong information, you can give bad advice. Having an Internal Medicine Specialist at our Sylvia Park hospital allows better collaboration between services for those complex cases that need the input of more than one specialist.
